Wisconsin Badger Camp is situated on 680 acres of woodland overlooking the Wisconsin and Mississippi River Valley. The Camp is located ten miles south of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, one hour south of LaCrosse, one hour north of Platteville and two hours west of Madison.
Badger Camp boasts over 20 miles of hiking trails. We have two heated lodges each equipped with kitchen facilities, sleeping dorms, activity room, and restroom/shower facilities. We also have an activity building, wheelchair accessible swimming pool, petting farm, nature center, basketball court, and paved paths.
Directions to Badger Camp:
From Madison: Take Hwy 18 West to Dodgeville. Stay on Hwy 18 West until you reach Fennimore. Once in Fennimore, continue on Hwy 18 West, making a right at the first stop sign. Following the signs, you will need to turn left on Hwy 18 in Fennimore and follow it approximately 11 miles. Turn right on Military Ridge Rd. (There will be a historical marker there.) Follow this road and turn right on Campbell Ridge Rd. then left on Munz Lane. Enter through the gate, and camp is about one mile.
From Dubuque or Platteville: Go to Lancaster. Follow Hwy 35 through Bloomington to Patch Grove. Outside of Patch Grove, at the stop sign, turn left onto Hwy 18/35. Follow Hwy 18/35 about three miles and turn right on Fuller Hollow Rd. Follow this gravel road until you reach the top of the hill and turn left on Campbell Ridge Rd. Turn left on Munz Lane. Enter through the gate, and camp is about one mile.
From LaCrosse or North of Prairie du Chien: Follow Hwy 35 South through Prairie du Chien and Bridgeport. Once you have crossed the Wisconsin River Bridge, drive 2-3 mile until you reach Fuller Hollow Rd. Turn left and follow this gravel road until you reach the top of the hill. Turn left on Campbell Ridge Rd. Turn left on Munz Lane. Enter through the gate, and camp is about one mile.
